@2ndchancemommy, my first went good but had too much PITOCIN so it hurt worse. I didn't have an epidural with my first. They used cervadil first then hours later tried PITOCIN. It really kicks up labor. With my 2nd, same routine only I had an epidural that didn't work. But labor went from 3-10 very quickly. Dr had to break my water with my second to help it progress before I went straight to 10 cm. It's different for everyone but you can prolly expect some strong cramping like a period until hard labor. Contractions get stronger as u near pushing and more painful. Opt for an epidural so it's ready if u need it. Unless u don't want one. It hurts and is uncomfy (not gonna lie) but some handle it better than others. Take something to distract your time while waiting on hard labor. It may take awhile but it may go quickly. Never know. You got this! :)
