I'm not sure if all hospitals are like the one I delivered at but it's impossible for it to wear off. Every 30 minutes it would administer the drug to me and I had a button I could click if I needed one extra during that time.
Mine did I'm thinking. I never actually lost feeling of my legs.. I could still move them, and lift them... I had my baby 6 hours after I got it, and was able to get on my hands and knees and push. However, from my waist down to the middle of my thighs was numb.. the epidural numbed me for sure, but I could feel all the contractions in my ass lmao. They said there was nothing they could do about that hahah
I also had the button and the continuous drip of it. If it's fully working I don't think your able to move your legs at all... but who knows... I still felt my baby come out for sure... but it wasn't that bad...
Mine did and I didn't get it until I was 9 cm but we pushed for a very long time and when it started wearing off they tried giving me more meds and I ended having an emergency c section which I was able to feel so they had to do a spinal after they cut me because I felt it 😖 ya I didn't have the best labor experience lol
mine wore off with one of my deliveries. by the time the doctor came bk in to give me more meds it was almost time to push. so after giving it to me it hadn't fully kicked back in yet so I felt it just a littlw when I pushed him out but it wasn't that painful
