my daughter is 4mo and when she was about 3 1/2 Mo my hair began to shed pretty bad and still is. .. is this normal and how long is this going to last ?

It's normal for them to lose hair. My son lost all of his but a patch in the back

My hair starting falling around the same time I literally cry every time I shower I'm terrified I might go bold my doctor said the shedding is normal to just give it a few more months 😭 are you breastfeeding?

@lovingmatheo, yes I'm breastfeeding and take a daily vitamin, thought maybe it was a vitamin deficiency. but nothing has changed . began to get worried cause it's alot of hair ....

Lol. Oops I misread! I lost a lot of hair too. I would say around 9 months it stopped

Omg mine comes out in big clumps, started around the same time. I'm 5 mos pp and still going

My mom tells me breastfeeding can cause it as well. My hair falls out in huge chunks my curls are nearly gone

So far from what I've read only prenatals remember we breastfeed anything can go to the baby. I've been using coconut oil it hasn't help with the falling but I've notice tons of regrowth
