This may be a silly question but do some moms feel other women's baby have more prominent movements…

I definitely did! But I had an anterior placenta that blocked a lot of the movements.

I felt like everybody was always talking about how much their baby moved and I never felt like my son did a lot! Women would complain of their babies keeping them awake because they were kicking so hard, or movements being painful, and I never had any of those problems. 😂

Well it's good to know I'm not the only one. I think I over stress myself as a FTM 😫😂

I definitely don't feel movement as intensely as others describe. I do have an anterior placenta so that is part of the reason. I do feel him move all throughout the day though but it's all pleasant and small movements and he's never kicked me in the ribs or kept me up at night. He has started having hiccups which are noticeable and that's kinda cool. He's also been head down since before I could feel kicks so he hasn't done any crazy flips or anything. I guess he's pretty comfy in there. :)

@shonce, don't worry about it. You definitely aren't alone. As long as all your appts show your baby has a healthy HB and you are measuring on track and you feel regular movement throughout the day, you are fine! Not much longer and baby will be outta there anyways :)

has to do with where the placenta is it. if it's in the front you won't see or feel as much movement as a mom who has the placenta in the back. also if you have belly fat that's another reason.

I'm gonna have to ask my doctor about that when I go for my next appt. I don't remember her mentioning it but she very well could have. @babybue16 my son has also been head down the ENTIRE time I have 3 weeks left 50% effaced and 0 dilation at my 36 week appt so hopefully this next one at 37 we will have more progression. I'm getting nervous but I'm sooooo ready
