I need tips on transitioning my breastfeeding, semi-co sleeping son to his own crib in his own room. He still wakes up several times during the night to nurse and I don't even know where to begin. I have a camera/monitor system for his room as well. The pediatrician told me to jump right in and place him in his crib each night. Any tips or tricks would be helpful. #momlifephotos #breastfeeding #cosleeping

@withlovedkj, I need to know also. He sleeps great with the sitter at night or at his dads house. But with me he may sleep 3-4 hours starting at 8pm in his crib then after that he can wake between 1-2 hours for breast. And it's not like he's awake crying. He just wants the nipple in his mouth and he goes right back down. It's 10 months of that. He's so attached to his breast. Don't even know at this point how I'm going to wean him

It's something about the milk! Kingston does the same thing. He's always sleep but wants the comfort of the breast . @nurseriri

Your peds dr is being unrealistic every child is different . My friend had two kids one she was able to wean off in a week and transition her to her crib. The other had a hard time will cry cry and cry. I am not comfortable with the cry it out method so that would never work for me. She would let the baby cry herself to sleep. It look two months before the baby weaned to not needing it to sleep . I could never do that so i dont know . If you find tips let me know
