Sooo from Florence's side putting her in the Moses basket inside crib was a success, I managed to settle her from after 10pm ish and all night between feeds, she needed a bit of coaxing like jiggling the basket and stroking her head but I managed it, she had never settled this well at all at night in next2me crib so I'm guessing this is the way to go for now. On the downside I only managed two hours sleep after the 3am feed till now, but I think apart from trying to settle her all the time my body clock is out of sync as used to being awake with her till 3am every night so far. Work in progress! So we will try and get a few more hours together this morning hopefully xxxx

I don't understand why people put the Moses basket in the cot? Daisy went straight from her Moses basket to a cot at 7 weeks and loved it! She likes to spread out in her sleep so liked the space 😂

@daisysmummy Some babies dont like the big space...it scares them:) also some people put the basket in the cot to get them use to it...xx

@daisysmummy, it wasn't my first choice to do obviously, she didn't settle in her next2me crib very well at all, this has made all the difference as she obviously feels happier and more secure, it's good you had no problems at 7 weeks Hun, but it's not like that for everyone. My son years ago went straight into a cot at 4 weeks with no problems, all babies are unique and settle differently x

Florence has a next 2 me crib and I got a sleepyhead to go inside that works perfect for us there quite pricey but they do a cheaper one called puddle pod x

@jodiec, thanks Hun yeah I looked at them and thought they looked very expensive, I'll look at the puddle pod too, don't know why but I'm a bit wary of them, safety wise though x

@jodiec, they say not for unsupervised sleeping, so if I'm asleep too for through the night it might not be ideal Hun, to be honest the Moses basket inside is ok as I can jiggle her a little to settle her and she seems to like that xxx thanks though honey, so many things out there to try isn't there xxx
