my mom gets on my nerves. she never really talked to me or gave two shits until I got pregnant, and still didn't try to talk to me much through 2/3 of my pregnancy but now that I'm about to pop she is trying to be buddy buddy with me just because she wants to be around my child. and that really irks me.

My mom was the same way. She has never been there for me till end of my first pregnancy but I decided to give her chance. I can hinestly say I dont regret it one bit she is a wonderiful grandmother. We are still not close but I deal with it because to me she is doing right by my babies and that matters alot to me.
