Those of you who have been induced and werent dilated or effaced could you share your induction…

I can't she's small, so they want her out at 39 weeks. they said its a medical standard for babies that are SGA. I m not dilated or effaced bc she hasn't been head down long enough to settle and start the process from what my Dr said

I'm being induce next Tuesday cause of me having hypertension.

And she also head down, but no dilation at all.

it makes me fear it'll be more painful than natural labor process, just bc of what I've heard. @fabulous_t

I saw a video on YouTube with a Dr explaining the process and he said it's about the same. It seems like Induction is worst due to them basically helping you with labor and you feeling all at once instead as if you're home going through labor stages on your own. At least that what his explanation was. I'm excited cause I'm ready to meet her, but afraid of the pain and how I'll react. But I do pray about it for me and my little girl. @geekymomma13

that makes sense. I'm just hoping and praying it goes smoothly. I have a high pain tolerance but even still I'm kinda worried too, how I'll take it. But it'll all be worth whatever I go through @fabulous_t

When I was induced they put something in my vagina to help dilate my cervix is was uncomfortable every time they checked and then they start you on pitocin I think is how you spell it . That is to start the contractions and let me tell you that shit hurts . I heard the contractions are stronger with pitocin than the normal contractions

I went in barely dilated to a .5 so nothing really lol It took a whole day I went in at 730 am they gave me cervidil took from that time to 11 pm to dilate to a 3 then they started pitocin and I didn't fully dilate til 9 pm the next day. It hurts so bad and I had long contractions so that was worse. When it was time to push, my daughters heart rate dropped so we had wait 2 more hours and then yeah after another 2 hours of pushing she came out lol I got the epidural after 13 hours idk if you are going to but yeah that was my experience. Took a lonnnnng time. But everyones body is different.

I was induced with my daughter I wasn't dilated or anything but my water was leaking and I was 41 weeks they started me on pitocin I was in labor for 28 hours horrible back labor I got the epidural after 25 hours it did not work on me my body rejected it I felt everything but it was all worth it 🙏🏻🙏🏻
