@smilingwithmyawesome4kids, Ethan skipped sippy cup and went to straw cup. Which is better I was told by my friend whose a speech therapist. Strengthens their jaw in preparation for speech.

With my son we tried every sippy cup on the market! He ended up only liking the cheap $2 ones from Walmart 😂 He still loves them, which is good because as many cups as he loses it's nice to only have to pay $2 to replace them lol

Hard top, for some reason he never liked the soft top ones! He would just chew on them lol but depending on how old you LO is it may be easier for them to use s soft top. I didn't fully transition until his 1st birthday, I threw out all the bottles & only allowed him a sippy, but he had been practicing with a soft top since 4 months old so it was really easy. He had no problems at all

How old do they have to be to start with a sippy cup??

Oh ok i was wondering because my son will b turning 6 months soon. Do u put water or formula in there? What cup is best for them starting out

My son just turned 6 months today and I am only putting his breast milk in his once he get it. But once he is older I will offer him juice in his sippy cup. Not sure what is the best sippy cup for them to start out with. Was told it's a trail and error you just gotta see which one works for your baby
