Ladies do any of you formula feed your baby Enfamil Newborn? Do you have to heat up water ? Or just room temperature water?! Help
I used room temp water. I used the newborn one at first but switched to gentlease. it was better on his tummy..
i used room temp. i use arrowhead water as it seems like it doesnt have flouride or added minerals. however, i hear a lil warm formula is better, it goes down better, but i think room temp is fine. i also used gentlease enfamil because he was delicate witht the proteins of milk
Room temperature is fine ..my first born didn't mind..my second born was breast fed for a few months so when I put her on formula she got picky and didn't want room temperature she always wants it warm..in the winter or cold nights I always would warm it up
I wasn't told to until my son was like 8 months old so I didn't bother. I've always used bottled water because that's what I drink and it was easier that way.
@loveerii, lol supposed to but I never did when I supplemented 😁 I always thought only tap water needed to be boiled
I just buy baby water from the baby section. Leave it on the counter or on top of the fridge and so it's room temperature. No need to boil or warm the water as long as its not cold water then your fine. Only reason you should boil your water is if your using tap water and there something in the water that's harmful for your child. Which is unlikely in tap water. Where I live my daughter's doctor told me I didn't have to continue to buy baby water and could use regular water from the sink not boiled just warm to the touch.
So I still need to boil bottled water ? Lord he's five months old now lol @corinasolorio
my baby has ate enfamil NB gentle ease and AR. She also had similac.90% of her bottles are room temp. I warm her bottles in the microwave for 30 sec.she drinks 5 oz. shake and serve. I've NEVER had a issue. I currently mix 2 formulas enfamil AR and gentle ease still there's no problem. she will be 3months on the 2nd
I just use room temp bottled water with my first baby 😕 Nobody told me otherwise @corinasolorio
Water is supposed to be heated enough to kill the bacteria in the formula from what o have heard
Room temperature is fine
