I haven't had any Braxton hicks in the sense of "tightening" but i have been getting random…

I haven't had any Braxton hicks in the sense of "tightening" but i have been getting random period-like cramps over the last week or so especially after a warm shower. I have them right now and it hurts like hell. im just worried because when i google it ( i know i shouldn't be ) it says to contact my doctor. Any one else experience this?
