My son is 10 months old and has ALWAYS been a great sleeper. Well here recently (like within the past couple of days) he has been screaming when he wakes up in the middle of the night and also after naps. I don't mean casual screaming.... Like really loud and inconsolable screaming. But he will stop and act totally normal the second i hold him. Once I lay him back down? It sounds like I just chopped off his foot. This time, it only lasted for a few minutes before he fell back asleep.... But I'm really concerned. He's never ever acted this way before!
Should I go to his doctor or something??

They do, so if he's waking up in the middle of the night screaming for no reason and it's not just your average cry then that's what I would think it is. But I could totally be wrong, definitely talk to his doctor about it.

Gas?, my daughter was doing the same exact thing, she never cried in her sleep and then she started waking up screaming and she wouldn't even let me hold her she would stretch her body out straight.. She eventually fell asleep.. And i started giving her gas and constipation drops.. And she's been good ever since
