April 15th 2015 at midnight at 38+4 I went into labor and delivery because I had bright red bleeding. Thinking it was my mucus plug I had a NST. All was good and just as they went to get my discharge papers the monitors started going crazy and beeping. in rushed 6+ nurses and doctors all yelling and poking at me. Then in came my doctor and he said "looks like it's your lucky day, you're going to be induced. looks like you're having a baby". in a panic I was singing papers and crying, desperately trying to get ahold of my husband who had been gone three weeks for military training. I finally got ahold of him 4 hours later after pitocin and being settled into my room. he came busting through yhr doors, face paint and dirty uniform, crying and freaking out, he was soon to be a daddy.

Okay, skip to the 16th at about 7am after my first check at midnight on the 15th I was only at a 2. I made it to a three..yippie! they broke my water, it was all blood. the main doctor (a general) told my nurses if the blood didn't stop it would be bad news, after my water broke I went to a 7. I went to bed after my EPIDURAL. (skipping a bunch of boring sleepy hours and no changes) At about 6pm nothing changed and they couldn't get a heart beat so they checked for it vaginally. well back to bed I went. still pregnant and No chances of pushing.

3am on the 17th, again after any checks and no changes, fast asleep and in comes 4 nurses all freaking out. no heart beat, turning me over about 6 times...finally a heart beat but not strong. I woke to papers in my face and a OR nurse saying "sign these, you need a c section" so I did, finally 3:28am on April 17th my son was born. a healthy 6lb bubs.
