How far along are you

It depends on how far along you are and if the baby is responding to them well. If the babies heartbeat is having decels which are decelerations during contractions they may induce you

@juliam27, they might, but might not, it just depends on how the baby & your body are handling them

They probably will not stop them, but they might not induce. Like they may just let you keep having them and checking if you are making any progress at all over the next few hours, if they see no progress then they may start inductiom

I was 37 weeks having contractions and 2cm. They gave me fluids and a shot to stop them. They did monitor me overnight but they saw no progression and my doctor did not want to induce unless it was after 39 weeks (full term).

I'm 37 weeks and was 4 cm dilated 2 days ago and last night I was still 4 cm and 70% effaced and painless contractions every 2 to 4 mins but had me go home until my contractions get painful or uncomfortable or water breaks cuz they try not to induce until 39 weeks but they said i'm a Lil early but would be perfectly fine to have him anytime if he's ready

Depends on the dr & the baby some fed would let it keep going others not so much
