Don't feel bad about it mama it's going to be hard but take this time to prepare and enjoy time to yourself it may seem like he's doing a lot and the only one doing something but trust me once you have your baby it's a full time job and you'll be putting in a lot of work too. Enjoy this time sleep,do your nails, binge watch some tv just relax ,with a newborn it won't be so easy but truly rewarding. Sorry your feeling bad mama

I feel so helpless but I am always so excited for him to get home. But tonight was just a whole other story. I can wait until I go back to work so he can find a different job. I feel like I am caught in the middle of his work in a way. He works with my step dad. It just makes it complicated but yet he and my step dad are so close. I get you nd right now ye it seem like your not doing much but remember your till making a baby and that's a lot of work to I get what you mean my husband works with my dad sometimes and it sucks because that does put you in the middle of it butt just enjoy it I know it's hard I know there's probably tension but sit him down and talk to him maybe with a newborn it's so much work you deserve these few weeks to enjoy yourself because most likely it will be you getting u p all throughout the night and all day running on little sleep. Is the money good right now to where he can't get another job or something?

We will barely be makin it without myself working. I am going to be watching my cousins after they get off school but we are waitin to start that until after I have my daughter. So its something to help out. We both have car payments so thats what really killing us. If we didnt have that than we would be just fine. And he has hisself stressed out afraid we arent goin to make it but I think we will be just fine. I just miss the little things. I have been super emotional and I get down in the dumps so easily these past couple weeks. @mrscruz0530

I get you girl I didn't go back to work after I had my daughter and there are times I stress about my car payment too it sucks. are you getting any money through disability or anything ? I sipped working at 30 weeks and go paid from disability all the way until my daughter was I think 8 weeks then once that stopped I took my 6 weeks of paid bonding and once that was up I resigned from my job but I was employed the whole time and got a check for 90 hours of vacation time that I had accumulated which was nice. there are always programs to help with bills and other things that maybe you can look into for your area it's helped me a few times

@mrscruz0530, @beebaby I have been there for 3 years. I have a week vacation I can use but I am using that for emergency use. We have some change that has accumulated which will help. I will also be babysitting my two little cousins after school to earn a little bit of money. I have started looking into other jobs anyways because I am wanting something different but there isnt much I am interested in. I just dont want him to stress bills.

@beebaby, I work fast food. I was a crew member for a year and a half and have been assistant manager for a year and a half. Most jobs around my area dont even offer maternity benefits. It is awful. My gm filed for unemployment when she was on maternity leave with her children but that was 15 years ago. I dont know if it would work for me but I am gonna look into it tomorrow

I would definitely look up the unemployment/maternity leave in your area where I live I was able to do it all online and it was way faster do you at least get the 6 weeks of bonding time ?

@mrscruz0530, Yes I do. I can have up to 12 weeks. But I also wouldnt have to go back than. I just cant afford to stay out however long I want. lol
