How do you wean a baby off bottles and onto sippy cups? He has only held his bottle on his own maybe 3 or 4 times and refuses to try most times. He knows we are trying to replace the bottles. He won't hold his sippy cup with pediasure in it and he won't even drink it if daddy or I hold it for him. I have less than 2 months to do this or its not gonna work with Jace coming soon. Please HELP!

With another baby coming he will probably go back to the bottle anyways because that's what they do. I wouldn't take it completely just Introduce it. Some babies aren't ready at one.

@ssdj4, I only did bottles at night and only sippy cups in the day... then eventually stopped bottles all together.

@ssdj4, no, is Delos eating solids yet? If so, he will drink from a sippy cup if it is the only thing offered. We were completely done with the bottle by 11 months. Mine adjusted quite well!

I had my daughter off a bottle and she never wanted one when her sister was born, she was 13 months when I had her sister. I just threw them away, and offered a sippy so she had no choice.

he eats more baby food than solids right now. he still has a hard time swallowing table food. he does drink from a sippy cup all other times except for the 3 he takes during the day. one in morning, noon/nap, and night. @purpledpink
