Rolled receiving blankets on either side of baby are the only thing that's safe to put in their seat

only rolled receiving blankets are safe. any after market body/head inserts or strap covers are a big no no. they can interfere with the car seats straps performance in the event of a crash. they most likely were not crash tested with your carseat so there is no way to be safe. anyone who is properly educated in car seat safety will strongly advise against the use of any after market car seat accessories.
