I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant and the Flu shot makes me sick EVERY year. My job is trying to force me to still take it. Am I wrong for not wanting to take it this year due to being pregnant and not wanting to get sick

if you're working in a hospital or doctor office by law you have to get it

I think they have a different version for pregnant woman ask them about it.

I always get sick from it too, BUT I haven't this year. I'm an stna. maybe hormones or something help us not get sick? I dunno. I know that wasn't helpful lol

Doc gave me a different version because I'm pregnant. ..thought I was going to get sick but honestly I felt fine@shonce

I don't mind taking it I just don't like the fact of being sick while pregnant or with a newborn if he was to come early. We have to take it but patients can refuse and that part I don't agree with. I'm going to ask my OB about the other version and go from there. Maybe she can calm my worries a bit

ugh.. I hate they force it on people that way. its nothing but poison. I havent had one in 10 years and havent had the flu yet..
