Hi all... How long after having your babies did you go outside....? my lil girl is 2weeks 2days today and i havnt been out yet... I have 2 other boys who are 4 and 21 months... I feel so bad for them as they have had to stay in with me... I have no friends as all dropped off 1 by 1 when had my firstborn.... and family are working/college/uni/school..... so cant help with taking boys out... I feel so sad about this.

I went to Morrisons the day we came home from hosp when she was 1 day old and then met friends in town when she was 4 days old xx

5th day! went down the road to the shops. I was stuck in hospital 4 days! So just wanted to be out! on the 9th day went for a proper food shop with my mum xxx

I think I went out after about 3/4days. Just for a walk to begin with. After having Max I still had Morgan that I had to take out to nursery etc. No way could I keep him in the house one day let alone longer lol. It's hard when you don't have people to meet up with. When we moved it took me a long time to meet new people & I still don't get to meet up with old friends often. But I think it's important to get yourself out and about once your ready. To the park, soft plays, play groups etc. For your own sanity & your kids lol

hi @taralou have u got a double buggy or a board to clip on ur babys pram? for u little on to stand on as the 4 year old can walk.. maybe take them alk to the park let them run wild and also on ur walk to or from the park get them to pik up leafs and do leaf paintin when u get home. u ovs dont need friends like that, that drop u when u have children. im always here to talk via message if u eva want a chat x

I was out and about the day after shopping, and taking Lon walks he's now 2 weeks and a bit and I feel normal, Doing everything as normal, I wanted to get straight back into be "normal" then? @taralou xx

I had stitches...so it was a bit uncomfortable to be walking/standing for a long time :) but just went out a few hours a day xxx

Thank you all.... I thought I should stay in longer... but the longer im in im becoming more alienated.... also yes I still feel sore and uncomfortable so I dont feel like going out either... I guess ill brave it as my others need to get what they need also... Thankyou again all... xxx

I went for a walk when my little one was 2 days old as the midwife said it was good to get out of the house and give baby fresh air. Just make sure they're wrapped up :) xx
