C-section moms: Glue vs staples? Any differences?

Glue is more comfortable to heal

@housfullofgrls, I heard it takes longer. I had my staples removed after a week. This time they told me if have to come back within 2 weeks to see if it closed.

Is glue the dissolvable sutures? That's what I have. I read online that they heal better than staples.

@elainaelise, no it's different. it's actually a skin bonding glue they use to close the scar.

i had glue. it never hurt and everything went to normal in a week.

I had staples and was able to get them out after 5 days but they were uncomfortable. I healed really well though and don't have much of a scar.

i had the glue. idk if it was just my reaction to it or if its typical but my scar was puffy and raised for awhile. no infection thats just how it was during The healing process. im 8 months pp now and its just starting to finally go down and look like a normal scar.

I had staples. ((22 to be exact) I was put to sleep because my back refused the meds, but when they took them out, didn't hurt but once and it was because they stapled my fat to vagina haha

@brantleysmommy25, I loved my staples. I barely have a scar and I had no problems. Their talking about glue this time and I'm like well damn I'm not no damn piece of paper.

Yeah. I have a scar but not to bad... And yeah I had surgery back in August and had a reaction to the glue so nobody's gluing my ass again lol
