So sister in law had the mirena for 5 years. Her and her husband have been trying to get pregnant since January. She took a test a couple weeks ago and it said positive. She had taken a test in July that said negative. She's been having periods regularly, but thinks she's far along. She doesn't go to the doctor until November 1st. My husband and mil think she looks 5-6 months. She's gaining weight very fast. Has anyone experienced this once getting off birth control?

Well won't that be an interesting ultrasound! 😬 it's too bad she can't get in sooner. I'd drive myself insane wondering how far along I am.

she doesn't have to wait . i went to the emergency room to confirm my pregnancy and see how far along i was . i told them i was worried

@christimary0, well she said she thinks she's only about 8 weeks along. My husband and mil think she looks really big so they think she's 5-6 months. I said it could just be bloating though. Guess we will see lol

@chaylalove, that's what I said. But she didn't find out about her other two kids until she was 5-6 months either. Lol who knows

@beebaby, @chaylalove her apt is This Tuesday. She isn't having any problems. And she has no questions or concerns. I'm just nosey. Lol she thinks she's only 8 weeks, everyone else guessed she was 5-6 months. Guess we will see Tuesday!
