ummmm when does your milk usually dry up?!?! I thought I was about that life ..but I'm not 😏😬

Did you already try and now you don't want to do you want to dry your milk? It's not just as simple as leaving it and letting it dry because you'll become engorged and probably get clogged ducts, my mil told me to wrap your breast as tight as you possibly can and keep it on for 3 days, if your milk tries coming out it'll be too tight so it won't be able to come and eventually it'll stop trying and just dry up that way

You know those rolls of like wrap for injuries I'll post a pic so you know what I'm talking about

It's going to be super painful because your boobs will try to have a let down (when your milk comes out and you get a sharp pain in your boobs) but the wrap will be blocking it so just warning you it probably won't be fun! There's other things to lower your supply so I'd try things to lower it first before wrapping so maybe it dries up quicker with less milk??

honestly, mine took about 3 days. I literally couldn't breastfeed anymore, let alone pump. my boobs got soooo engorged and sore, I would just get in the shower and squeeze the milk (that would come out) by hand. the less baby latches and the less you pump, the less you will supply. it was painful so make sure to keep little cooling pads around.

I slowed down pumping over a few weeks. when I completely stopped I had to pump one more time because I got so engorged and then never did again. all done.

Sorry had to look it up. I only knew they would dry up supply because my LC told me they would when someone mentioned to use them for pain.
