This is my littles ones belly button.... the big part fell off days ago but how is the inside going to harden when it's all the way in? Normal?

Poor baby )): . The alcohol definitely will dry it up quick an heal it . I'm sure if you dab it with a cotton ball the alcohol will drip into it . Or try a q-tip ! @hale16
Maybe because the alcohol dries it faster? But it's still like hope it works cause girl I couldn't get in his belly button if I tried @lauren5786
I mean it makes sense that they smell , it's rotting flesh , lol. Not sure how else they could smell . It just worried me because mainly everything I read said if it smells it's infected . So of course I called the dr, worried her belly button was gonna end up all messed up but after a week of dabbing it with alcohol it looked perfect . I hope his heals quickly I'm sure it's sore ! @hale16

It looked similar to what his looks like . Hers smelt bad, an looked bad. I thought it was infected and took her in but her dr said it was fine. I'd just use a cotton ball with alcohol on it an dab it after every diaper change . If it's not better within a week I'd take him in to his pedi @hale16

Just keep putting alcohol on it with a cotton ball ! My daughters was nasssssty! It got stuck to her swaddle wrap thing an tore before it was ready to come off 😒😳 ... smh. Sooo the dr had me pat it down with rubbing alcohol at every diaper change, and it cleared right up and looked completely normal within a week. @hale16
yeah his pediatrician said a bath is fine so I bathed him
Cause it's on the inside like he had to cry & push his stomach out for me to get a pic of it @mattsmommy87 I was thinking to just put him in but I just wiped him down cause I said I wanted to be on the safe side 😩
oh Hun I gave my son a bath I just rub it with alcohol when I'm done drying him off
