Today was a rough day to say the least... Sofia slept well last night despite coughing through the night and having a temp of 102.1. I called the doc before bed and they said give her Tylenol and bring her in today. So I brought her in this afternoon and by that point her temp was back to normal. The docs first concern was ear infection, but she ruled that out... then she wanted to rule out a UTI... which was absolutely horrible😞 they had to put a little bag on her which she absolutely hated... after like 30 minutes of her screaming, she still hadn't peed so they had to put a catheter in😔 she actually did better with that... the doc said her urine looked normal but they would send it off... her final say was that it was a viral infection. Should go away within the next few days but if she's still miserable on Thursday, I need to bring her back in. After a soothing vapor bath and some baby vics on her feet, she is (hopefully) down for the night! I was dreading her getting sick for the first time... but she has smiled and giggled a bunch today which makes me so happy☺️
