I had an appointment today. During my nst they realized I was having real contractions again every two-three minutes. I was checked for dilation again and since Thursday I've gone from barely fingertip dilation with a (very) long cervix to 1cm and 50% effaced. They told me to go walking to see if I could progress things (just to see if I'm in early labor or just having bad ass braxton Hicks) and I walked for over an hour, but when I got hooked up to the monitors my contractions stopped. Probably from all the water I drank while walking, and I didn't progress any. Which is super great! I was just having bad braxton Hicks or the earliest of contractions. I'm currently having some contractions and in a little bit of pain but I'm just going to wait it out and see what happens. lol my doctor is an hour and a half away so I'm not about to drive ALL the way back there for some BH contractions. But baby girl looked great and had a nice strong heartbeat. She hates contractions and has to move through every. single. one. But hopefully her being breech right now is a good thing. When they checked me they said that they couldn't feel her butt engaging and she was still "floating around" in there. lol good day overall

They aren't sure @egaylep2 Or if they are sure, they aren't telling me lol. They keep sending me home when I'm having contractions

Do you see a high risk doctor or just your regularly OB? As long as you are monitoring things it is good I always say better to be safe.

i go to a high risk because I've had one stillborn and I have type one diabetes @egaylep2 I have appointments twice a week for either an nst or ultrasound. then I have a regular on checkup once a week after one of those appointments

I am also Type 1 so I understand completely. I am not at the 2 appointments yet just once a week at my high risk and once every 2 weeks at my OB I also get Pre-eclampsia which is why my babies come early 36 weeks,34 weeks and 36 weeks. Do not mind me asking questions just who I am lol thanks for chatting with me.

no problem @egaylep2 I'm on watch for pre e right now because my blood pressure baseline is usually right at 90/70 and today it was 126/90 but they said it's still good because it's in range. I'm not feeling too good right now to he honest. my belly is super hard and feels like it's in a constant braxton Hick. It won't loosen up:( I'm hoping it goes away soon.

Us diabetics are prone to Pre E which sucks. I am sure you know all the tricks but drink some water, try taking a relaxing bath and just relax.
