I cried when I found out but luckily I found out the day before. I've never had the gel hopefully that's not too bad for you! Just make sure they check you because the refused to check me and I was 6cm zxx

@harleighmx, thanks hun its just scary cuz i knoe today's the day snd ive got to do this... i remember with my son once i saw him i forgot about all the pain etc... i gotta go in at 7.30 then there going to give me the gel snd check me after 6 hours so fingers crossed it works for me lol xxx

But I spent a total of 14 hours in the hospital as little one was born late, but the pessary worked within an hour

I was in labour nearly twelve hours after being induced and I had little one at 11:43. Not going to colour it, it's painful and it's a long process but listen to your body. I had a nightmare and none of the midwifes would listen to me when I was telling them I was having contractions so I was refused pain relief. But listen to your body you'll be fine! We all have been or will go through it and we're all coming out fine you'll do great Hun xxx

@babyno2-suzie, to be honest I never wanted a c section because I wanted to try naturally by pushing but my body wouldn't let me but by having my little girl by c section I know she would be safe I was scared but all that went soon as I saw her x

@beck_yemm, hope i have a similar experience to u lol and i really dont want a c section but what will be will be i guess... just need to think positive and stop being so scared lol @amyfreemz @dannielle1996 xxx

@babyno2-suzie, I was induced on the 19th August had the pessary put in about 4ish in the afternoon which lasts 24 hours was checked over on the 20th it didn't effect me and my cervix was still closed,they put the gel in and that lasts for 6 hours so was checked over after the 6 hours and I only reached 1cm, so ended with an emergency c section, on the Sunday 21st Aug I was taken to theatre about 4ish in the afternoon and my little girl was born at 17:17 weighing 7lb 15.5oz and I was 38 weeks and 3 days on the Sunday x

I was induced at 41+6 and I'm one of the horror stories but keep calm and trust me as soon as the baby's here you won't even care I didn't and I laugh at mine now when I tell people xx

No Hun Harvey was born at 37+6 and we were allowed home same day xx

im 38 plus 3 tomorrow xx

In my experience it was completely fine :) waters had already gone mind but had the pessary inserted @ 6:30pm Harvey was born at 1:40am xx

It's normal I was in a right state when I went in to be induced😅but honestly try not to over think about it:) xx

I've heard horror stories about it but when I was induced it was completely fine:) don't panick about it you'll be in great hands.. good luck Hun xx
