Scientists say that it is a mixture of both. I do during sex, doesn't bother my husband a bit and I always put the sheets in the washer directly afterwards (or towels) and take a shower! If you do though, I would suggest getting a waterproof sheet for the mattress.

also, I use the bathroom every time directly before and after sex (after so I can better prevent a uti but just depends on how long we go for. if it's quick then I have nothing but if it lasts for an hour or so I have very little) So I have a hard time believing it is urine.
