I can't do either. What's wrong with meeee lol. There must be a technique and I'm doing it wrong but my son is 9 months and I can't get anything pumping or hand expressing. It's ridiculous . I need like a manual on how to massage my boob haha
You breastfeed though? I didn't know how to hand express until one of the nurses at the hospital showed me. I can pump but it takes much long so I always end up hand expressing while pumping.
@sarisings, yes he is ebf . I remember at the hospital the nurse did it for me to help him latch but whenever I tried myself it didn't work so I'm obviously not getting it haha. The only time it worked for me was when I was super engorged and literally all I did was lift my boob out and press down and it started spraying everywhere 🙄... lol
I just cup my boob with one or both hands and squeeze hard until the milk comes out a litte, then I continue but not as hard. With pumping it comes out in drops which takes forever. @mamahoude
