Doesn't matter if someone chooses to breast feed or formula feed their own child. A fed baby is a happy baby & that's all that matters. Breast feeding/pumping doesn't work for everyone. I pump only and still get bashed (by people I actually know) for not breast feeding. She's still getting my breast milk just from a bottle. And at the end of the day my baby is fed which is all that I care about.

I have never pumped because I'm so intimidated by it!!! In my opinion it's harder and you gotta keep track of your stash and all that jazz , so honestly I give props to the people that exclusively pump ✊ I tried pumping once and got like two drops hahah

@mamahoude, and I give props to moms who ebf i know that's not easy cause I tried lol. My first child was in the nicu and was too small to latch so I've become a pumping pro cause that was the only way she was able to get my milk. So this time around it was a piece of cake

@amaperalta03, yeah I love ebf now but I had a real hard time with him latching and then on top of everything I never can leave him and go on dates with hubby or do my own thing . I really hope my next kid I can learn to pump as well as breastfeed. I think I just get so frustrated when I don't see milk coming out a lot so I just gave up too easily. When you first started pumping how long did it take you to get a full feedings worth of milk?

@mamahoude, within her first week of life. I was pumping 10 times a day at that time. Now I only pump 8 times & do lots of skin to skin. I also drink tons of water nd eat between each pump session

That's exactly right!! I was an exclusive pumper as long as I could make my milk last.. Then I had to go to formula because I dried out :(. I tried everything under the sun. The herbal supplements, the teas, the kangaroo time, skin to skin, gallons of water, eating enough, and even prescription medicine to increase my milk but it didn't work for me. So by 10 weeks my baby had to switch from breast milk to formula & he's still a happy baby lol.
