I was standing outside of Moe's today for lunch when an older couple (55-60 maybe) approached me and asked me if they could escort me to the hospital. I was super confused until the lady looked at my bump and said "you've gotta be due and second now!" And even though my induction is on the 12th I looked her dead in the eye and said "No I'm due December 2nd actually." The man tipped his hat and opened the door for her saying "Good luck, you won't make it but a few more days"
This makes me so mad. I've heard this since I was roughly 6 and a half months pregnant. I'm not amused, plus my baby is breech so there's no way she's putting enough pressure on my cervix to kick start labor any time soon. Shut your dirty mouths. It's not cute.

i dont think they were being rude even though it seems that way. they are older and sometimes they just know. but to us were emotional and hormonal and we get upset really easy.

Someone told me that too. It's insulting. I don't want her to come any sooner than when she is due. Don't put a jinx on me and my baby and have her coming except when she is healthy and strong enough to come into this world.
