Truly if I never have to be stuck by so many needles like I was in those two days of delivery and recovery, I'll be happy haha.

Let's see during labor & delivery wasn't bad: IV for pitocin and fluids, then the epidural

Recovery: another IV stuck in my hand when I hemorrhaged, something else stuck in my arm while they were arm deep in my vagina getting huge blood clots out (it was all a blur), another needle jammed into my left leg during that as well to help stop the clotting

Fun times haha. The doctor who had to get the clots out kept apologizing, he goes "I'm so sorry but this is going to be one of those things you remember forever"😂 he was surely right about that. As painful as it was, the actual pain from the bleeding/clotting hurt worse. I remember laughing too as that was all going on because Edith was obviously in the room and she was just sleeping through all of it
