yes! every body is different! I only needed one stitch but I still hurt sometimes where it was and it healed months ago. I also bled on and off for 2, almost 3 months. my best friend and SIL had around the same size baby as me, one didn't need any stitches and bled for two weeks, and my SIL needed an episiotomy.

@katelynn it was well worth it shes 3 years old now and weighs 35lbs lol... it just prepared me a tiny bit more for when i have my son.

@dez3185 @amaperalta03 @scurlock.mommy @leahsmommi .... i just hate when people get on here and feel like juat because they was able to just up and move or what ever even work dont mean the next was. everybody aint the same... because ik ot took more then 6 week for me to heal and i got a feeling my son gone be a big baby he was 5lbs at 34 weeks and im 39 weeks now.

I was up and moving around the same day but boy I wish I had just rested. I was miserable for the next 8 weeks! And you never know, he could be the same size as your girl and you barely need any stitches at all! it all just depends on the baby and the way your body responds to labor. not pushing until the doctor says to is actually supposed to help minimize tearing, too (i think it helped me a lot tbh).
