Probably a growth spurt. My girls been the same way and she usually sleeps all night 😫

It's possible. Also remember that babies use the boob for so much more than just eating, they use it for comfort so not just "pacifying". That's the only way he's able to feel close to you still. He's in this huge scary, cold world and all he has is you so the breast helps with comfort.

@jasholbert, Yeah, I understand that. But also we cosleep, so it's not like he's away from me at night. How long does your baby girl stay awake during the day do you think? I feel like maybe he's just sleeping too much during the day.

We cosleep as well so usually I'll pop out my boob, let her do what she wants and fall back asleep while she's on my boob. I'm not sure in total but usually she'll sleep for like 1-3 hours then look around for a bit then she'll eat and then look around for a bit and then nap again so probably in between each nap she's awake for maybe 2 hours. I make her do tummy time, I talk to her, I make her hold her rattle and stuff like that to stimulate her brain.

@jasholbert, I take my boob out for him too but he holds onto it and so I stay awake or he complains cause he doesn't have a good grip laying down so I sit up . Yeah we do that too , I think he's awake around 2 hrs as well .

@domsmama96, yes, he doesn't cry or cranky during the day he just sleeps and try's to talk and stuff but once night time hits he just wants boob in his mouth all night😩 everyone keeps telling me that it's just his way of growing his attachment to me
