Thanks @sambucca !!! Had a bit of a sleep and I'm back to having regular contractions. Dr is giving me till 5:30 this morning and then he will be starting the oxytocin. Fingers crossed everything picks up from here! I have been walking and using a ball, all the good stuff and yes it is my first so a whole new experience.

I'm sorry it's not going how you hoped. Are you able to walk around to try to get things moving? Is this your first? Some women are still able to have the natural birth they wanted even with a bit of pitocin. Don't give up mama. You got this!!

@sambucca, well water broke at 5:30am Sunday morning....dilated to 1cm...been at the hospital since 3:00am Sunday and now it's 11:45pm and I haven't progressed. Contractions have pretty much completely stopped and now I face the decision of getting oxytocin to get things moving. I'm so disappointed, been able to get to this point completely drug free and now my body has decided that it doesn't want to work anymore basically... I know what needs to be done but I am having the most difficult time committing to it.

Sounds like labor is starting. Can't wait to hear how it went. Good luck!
