Turned in my badge at my job today... because they obviously lied during the interview process... said I could get close to 40 hours and then only scheduled me for 9 ALL week.
When I told my manager this she said "oh, well it's because you are new and no one knows you yet".
Uhm, excuse me. but isn't the point in me getting a job there for seasonal was to get hours/train/help during the busy season? what a BS excuse.
Told me I could have came to them and asked for more hours. I told her I shouldn't have to BEG for hours every week.
This is the first job EVER that I'm proud to say I quit and walked out. What a joke!!

Good! Better off without all that lying. I thought it sounded fishy when we were talking about it the other day. You don't need that!

like.. I have a 4 month old daughter at home. 9 hours a week doesn't pay for really anything. They are so shady and I'll never work for that company again. it's one thing to tell someone ahead of time that their hours would be minimal vs lying to them 😒 @babynumber2ontheway

Oh I found something else and I start Monday. 😁 day shift, Monday thru Friday and they are very flexible. pays a little more too. so I guess jokes on them huh? 😉 @babynumber2ontheway
