My baby went breech and I had to have one. I was TERRIFIED of the spinal and the csection! Let me tell you it's all in your head! A csection is not that bad especially if it's scheduled and you're not already in active labor. The iv hurt more than the spinal did! And you don't feel a thing after that. Just like pulling/tugging. I know it sounds/looks terrifying, but it was WAY better than I thought!! If you have to have one I just know you can do it! It's all in your head!

why are they telling you that you need one

@liz41395, I'm not scared of the c section I just scared of the spinal and @michelle2220 that's the only one they use

@liz41395, like my back has very limited space in between my vertebrae because I'm very tiny person I'm only 4'10 on a good day and I normally only weigh about 115-135 I mean obviously not right now but before pregnancy I'm a tiny person and I'm scared and no they won't I'm to high risk for a uterine rupture and that can kill me and the baby....

@michelle2220, because I'm a repeat normally once you have a c section you'll always have a c section due to the scar tissue on my uterus and it being stretched so thin it could rupture

I'm sorry mama! I hope it all works out good! I hope when its done you can say "it wasn't that bad" and hope you recover fast too!

It's better then having a epidural cause they have to leave the catheter in your back
