I had to go to labor and delivery yesterday to monitor my contractions. I was having normal braxton Hicks coming about every 30-60 seconds. The nurse freaked out and checked me I'm only dilated to a 1. But my contractions got alot worse once she checked. They became very strong and they were accompanied by cramping. She decided to send me home anyway and told me to come back in when the cramps get stronger and they will admit me. So I guess I'm in early labor? They didn't even try to stop the cramps. Just sent me on my way and told me to come back to my appointments as scheduled unless I go into labor. Well thanks doc.

curiosity now that u are 1 cm what will u do to kinda speed things along or get things going..?

@mrs_velez, no I won't speed things up. I'm only 34 weeks and I plan on moving into a new home by the end of October. My baby is also still breech so she needs time to turn. Still cramping this morning from the cervix check though. They told me it would have gone away while I was sleeping. They just irritated everything lol. My cervix is still long and high because baby is breech so hopefully she will figure things out and try to flip herself

@martinajjones, its because at 34 weeks they wont stop labor. thats what my doctors did with my oldest daughter. she was born at 34 weeks and everything was ok she just had to stay in the nicu for ten days and now she is a very healthy and smart 17 month old. I hope you are able to carry your baby to term. good luck hun.
