What about the swaddling thing? I thought that was suppose to make them think there still being held?

My daughter would only sleep on my chest when we first brought her home but I prefer to co sleep anyways and my daughter sleeps so much longer when she's next to me. No she lays on me to eat and I roll her to the side when she's done and we put the crib next to my bed and took off the front so it's like another bed connected to mine so she has her area and flat space. It's hard when they are so small because they're used to being in our stomachs super close to us so it's a drastic change for them when they're alone in the crib or bassinet you can try putting something that smells like you near him and some people put like a sock with rice or something on the babies stomach to make it feel like your hand . Hopefully you can find something that works for you guys. Good luck mama

@wandal24, girl have u tried like 10 pillows propped up on all sides and just sleep holding baby all night long. That's what I do and in hospital they had some safe way to wrap ur bodies together but I can't remember so I just let him sleep on me all night if nothing else works if I get in a deep sleep and let go he doesn't fall he will be rolling either left or right which would put him on his sides with his backs to pillows so I feel he is perfectly safe u should try it
