Ok so we've (my husband and I) have decided to get our son (who will be almost 8 months old) a puppy for Christmas. I, being a stay at home mom, will be the one training and taking care of the puppy. My husband wants to get an American Bully because they are known to be loving affectionate dogs. My only issue with this is we would be spending 600 dollars to get this breed. (he dont want to rescue because of previous bad experience) This puppy will come with shots, worming and papers. Should I object more to spending so much on my son's first puppy? I am a dog person and I realize any full blood dog is going to be kind of expensive.
