Any other moms have to take thyroid medication during your pregnancy?! Swear they constantly reduce my meds every month which doctor said is fine as long as I don't stop taking it all together. It's just annoying and nerve wrecking for me as a first time mom 😭

I did! My medicine was also a lower dose than before I was pregnant. I guess it's because your body is working harder.

@bonniesue, throughout my whole pregnancy it seems they've always had to keep reducing because I would still be getting to much. I just worry I guess cause I don't want anything to happen to my baby

My son turned out fine and they kept reducing mine as well. It's very bad if the baby gets too much. I know it's worrisome. But I think it'll be ok.

@heatherlg88, did they ever get you leveled throughout your pregnancy or did they have to keep tweaking it?

yes. ive had hypothyroidism for a while. just never treated. then at 11 weeks my OB checked my levels & prescribed me the levo. after two months he rechecked my levels & they were normal. i think that's the only time he checked them though. as far as I kno they are still leveled out but I'm going to my primary care doctor in a week to recheck.

@bonniesue, @heatherlg88 the first 12 weeks I was fine it's just later into my pregnancy they've had to keep reducing it every month because I somehow still seem to be getting to much. My doctor doesn't seem to be to worried about it though but I can't help but to worry. Just wish they could have gotten it leveled at some point so I wouldn't have to to worry. I'm in my last 5 weeks of pregnancy though so I pray everything is okay as they say
