It depends what you want to do. We didn't spend very much at all, maybe around £100 in total. We were lucky enough to get the venue for free as it was in the back room of the local pub. We just made sandwiches, buns, little snacks, etc. And had a cake. The pub provided tea and coffee and people just bought their own drinks. We borrowed a christening gown from one of my family members and everyone had a really great day! There was nearly 50 people there too xx
I honestly didn't spend that much. But we didn't have a disco. We managed to the the venue for free as long as people spent money at the bar which we did. But we done our food are selfs but didn't go crazy just standard buffet food. Depends on what your wanting out of the day but you can do it cheep.
I can't imagine needing to spend that much but I guess it depends how big your making it. I know food is pricey. We're doing a buffet. I'm only inviting around 40 people though as can't afford the whole family.
