ok serious question they sent my placenta to be tested to find out if he was early or why he was so small they said my placenta age was 36 weeks what does that mean???

I think it means you were 36 weeks along? Or that's how far along he was developmentally?

What did he weigh when he was born? I was overdue and my son was super hairy too. But yeah as PP said your placenta was 36 weeks old.

Just sounds like your placenta stopped functioning at about 36 weeks which yeah is probably why so small. He wasn't getting enough nutrients. Some babies are induced to be born early since they'd thrive better on the outside than in utero. How many weeks were you?
