I've been having regular Braxton hicks contractions a couple of minutes apart and a constant cramp like pain in my lower sides.. anyone else's labor start out like this?

I wish this one would be as easy as the first. I had no signs of labor, then water broke in the middle of the night, got to hospital then contractions started. I just don't want to make phone calls for anything false!
