How early does the nesting phase kick in. I'm so ready to get everything done now. Buying clothes and supplies and looking at cribs and bassinets for my baby (I really want a fancy round crib with a beautiful canopy for my beautiful little baby girl.) I'm only 14 wks nd my mom is telling me to stop driving myself crazy becuz it's way too early to start (I think it's never too early to start.) I'm just super excited that I'm finally having a baby. And a girl at that!!! But I do spend a lot of my free time shopping for the perfect stuff for my baby girl. Should I give it a rest? After all the doctor did tell me it's too early to tell the gender but he's usually 80% accurate (this same doctor also told me when he walked in the room that he didn't know what he was doing during the ultrasound and had to ask the woman for help.) As I type all this I start to worry if I am actually wasting my time and what if it isn't a girl. I'd be happy for my little boy but my dreams would be crushed. Any advice greatly appreciated and hopefully reassurance.
& you could have found out as early as 9 weeks some insurances cover it some don't but they have blood tests that can determine the gender as early as 9 weeks that's what we did
I buy pampers & stock up on free stuff lol just to fulfill my need to have things . Also make a registry , shit make more then one ... when I'm obsessing over the baby & since we are waiting an extra 9 weeks before allowing them to tell us the gender at gender reveal I just add a whole bunch of stuff to my registry . Lol of course when you find out what it is you may have to change some things but ... it fills the void of needing to get baby stuff for the time being
@queen_zizi, I found out at 16 weeks and early gender scan when I was pregnant with my son, and she was right. Went again for this pregnancy same lady and it's a girl. She always checks for me as well when ever I go to be sure and so far it's always been a girl.
@queen_zizi, they told me it was too early too tell until my 20wk appointment. but i had an unscheduled appointment at 15 and the tech told me during the ultrasound that it looked like a girl but the doctor wouldbt confirm it until 20:/ i know it sucks im dying to know like idk if i can wait another 2 weeks lol
Wow I'm really getting saddened. He told me this a week and a half ago. Like this guy really did not know what he was talking about. He tried to tell me that boys have a little bump already formed where his manhood would be. But thank you for the info @nwhite0823
at 14 weeks it still to early a baby boys sack hasn't even formed yet. I was always told at 18 weeks for both of my kids and at 20 for the baby girl I have now and they were all correct. so I would ask again to check at your next ultrasound. fingers crossed hope you get your little girl!
@alana_sunshine, Alright. Thanxx. Fingers crossed! Hopefully won't have to dress a boy up in bows lol.
omgg I love it 😄 @mommagi. I'd that from one store or several?
