How long do they monitor u before they start the pitocin?

really depends. some will straight send you home if you're not processing.

they will send you home even if your scheduled to get induced ? @emily18234

I am getting induced on Friday my dr told me to eat something light and something you don't mind throwing up just in case@vicky810

If you're scheduled to be induced they will not send you home and yes he did tell me not to eat just in case I had to have a c section @vicky810

then it wouldn't matter either way, but they probably figure "no reason to hold up a bed incase of an emergency"
