Putting hettie in her own room from tonight. shes 7 weeks today. im hoping she will settle better…

Morgan went in his own room at 9weeks. I didn't want to but he outgrew his moses basket and we couldn't fit a cot in our bedroom. We were living at my parents at the time & it was only a small room. He loved all the extra space & slept so much better. I know they encourage 6months but it worked for us and with the monitors we use these days that literally pick up their breathing it put my mind at rest after the initial few nights.

shes still going to be in her moses basket rather than her cot just yet but in her own room rather than ours? do u think shes too young @sara-lou xx

Well now I have the option with Max as we have a bigger room I'm happy for him to stay in with us. I doubt your snoring disturbs her sleep. Well husband and myself snore and it's never bothered Morgan or Max lol

@tg123456789, my daughter will be 7 months on the 20th shes still in our room but some people put there babies in there own room from birth and others still have ten year olds sleeping in there bed each to there own suppose xx

my son co slept with me untill last year when i met someone 😂😂😂 hes 12 in november and stayed in my bed from day 1 !! but i wont do it again and knt this time round as oh is in the bed now too but he talks in his sleep and does noises and i snore. hettie does the same noises as her dad so i cant sleep for either of them and hettie wakes up cause of the noises he makes. im torn on what to do. its ok when hes on nights 2 days a week @sara-lou @chesscalouise2

My daughter went into her own room when she was 3 months, it worked so well for us as she sleeps better and allows us to have our own space. I was nervous at first but I felt ready for it. We have a video monitor that we have on throughout the night so can always check on her easily. I have to admit I did bring her back into our room at about 3am the first night even though she was fast asleep still not even bothered about been on her own haha. X

Abit early. Ideal time is 6 months atleast

Omg I could never co-sleep let alone for years haha. I hate sharing the bed with the hubby sometimes 😂

we did about 4 months. we were all waking each other up and are sleeping so much better now. if you feel comfortable doing it there's probably no harm in trying. I was nervous but when I realised her bedroom is about 10 steps away from ours I felt a bit better 😅

i didnt do it last night but oh was on nights and its def him waking her as she slept untill 4am then back up at half 7!!!! so im going to have her in with me again tonifht see if its same as hes on nights again and if so its def him so going to move her to her room and stay in there with her for week make sure all is ok before going bk to my room. start it from sat as friday hes home so ill see if she sleeps badly again with his talking ect and if so sat ill goto her room xx
