Okay please excuse my very long rampage... my Sister in law is 28 years old. She has two daughters who she gave up to other family members because she couldn't/wouldn't take care of them. She didn't get her first job until she was 27. She gave it up when her and her husband chose to move 45 mins away from her job. Her husband just left for a year long deployment. 2 weeks later, she finds out she's pregnant, claiming she is 2 months pregnant. My husbands whole family is excited for her. Why!? She doesn't even care about her other two. Does nothing for them. She said she wants this one because she wants a son. My mother in law is at her house everyday cooking and cleaning for her because she's sooo sick, but yet I have a baby, pregnant, and I go to school... his family never offers to help me. His mother is also buying her baby all kinds of things already when she did nothing for us. It's all about her new baby while her other kids are 4 hours away with other family members (ages 7 and 5) I'm sure they don't understand why their mom doesn't want them but wants a new baby....

@mrs.n2014, yes! I do not play the favoritism game. I don't care about myself because I'm an adult, however kids don't understand. They do nothing for the other two kids and now it is all about the "new baby". That is not fair to her other little ones 😔

@carlitojrmami, @mrs.n2014 I also get mad because she doesn't have to work or do schooling. She just has to be pregnant. Her husband is on deployment for a whole year, struggling to pay everything. Instead of her taking initiative to help, she has her mom buy everything. My mother in law and her best friend also put it on Facebook that she was pregnant without talking to her husband first. He didn't get to tell any of his family they all found out on Facebook

Oh god 🙄 I haven't experienced this yet. But this is exactly what I imagine is going to happen when one of my step sisters gets pregnant. My husband and I were just talking about how my father and step mom give everything to her daughters and here I am pregnant getting the bare minimum. Funny how that works.

I hate people like this you can't have a baby and just decide if its YOUR responsibility or not and her family is so wrong for condoning it .

It sucks... but I would take it as an extreme compliment!!… They obviously know that she is not a good mother… And they're trying to get her excited about maybe keeping this one… They see how capable you are and that you can take care of yourself… So they are overcompensating for their daughters incompetency. Just wear that badge of success… Keep your chin up… And if you need help… Ask for it. They might surprise you and help you out as well. ❤️
