How many weeks and who do i see about getting the strep B test done? How do they even do the test?

I think it's done at your 20 week bloods isn't it?

Oh sorry I totally misread that Hun! I've ordered a pack today to send off for testing. You just need to text GBS to 88020 and they send it free, it's £35 on return x

They don't routinely test you for GBS Hun. If you want to have the test done you have to pay. Xx

I've just been advised to ask my midwife to test me but I don't really have time now as I'm 36+4 but it might be worth you asking x

My cousin just said that i should ask because she had it. I have an appointment at hospital next monday and il be 36+2 days. The only reason my cousin found out she had it was because she thought her waters was breaking and they tested her. Makes me so nervous they should do it to all mums @emmaelaine xx
