What happens at your 6 week postnatal check up? I have mine next week and I'm dreading it incase…

@canteloupe24, I never had an internalnever even got my stomach felt but my doctors are crap! if you don't want an internal just say so I don't blame you there not nice at the best of times never mind after giving birth xx

@canteloupe24, unless you need to be checked they dont bother.. well thats how it works at my doctors.. i was all prepared for it at mine but because i had no worries she didn't do one x

@mother_of_humans, I had stitches too but the midwife checked them at one of my previous visits and said they were healing well and I'm not having any pains or worries. Just don't feel comfortable having them checked by my doctor although if it has to be done I'll just suffer through it haha 😂 x

My 6 week check was a waste of time. Was just a chat with a doctor about how I was feeling and contraception. No checks or anything! X

My doctor just felt my belly :) a male doctor delivered my daughter 😷😂 I also had a episiotomy Xx

ucan refuse one if u dont want it xx

Unless they or you think there's a reason to then they don't check.
