okay so can someone explain the wic process to me? I haven't gotten it, but I know I can while I'm still pregnant (I know it's the end) but I can have it for the rest of my pregnancy and they also will give me stuff afterwards. I'm kinda confused. i have a job, but it's under the table since it's my husband's fathers wood finishing business. so I'm just gonna say I don't have an income because I don't pay taxes and nothing is done with checks so I technically don't have one by law.
do I need my husband with me? how long until I get a check for stuff? can someone please just explain it all to me I'm lost 😅

If you qualify you can get it the rest of your pregnancy. I formula feed so once my daughter was born I also got formulas and PP checks for me. But once you hit 6 months PP then the checks for you stop and just continue for the baby. If you breastfeed then you continue to get checks for you even past 6 months PP because you won't be getting formula checks. You would need your husband's income and proof of it. My husband comes with me but he doesn't have to.

I forgot to mention your child gets it uo until their 5 as long as tou qualify the entire time.

you don't need your husband there with you they will just ask you about how much he wins. you get your first checks that same day you apply.
